Role Description The Music Producer and Recordist will oversee end-to-end music production, from pre-production planning to final delivery of tracks and live performance recordings. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with artists and composers on arrangements, managing recording sessions, operating studio equipment, and ensuring high-quality sound capture and mixing.

The role will also coordinate with label partners and internal teams on project timelines, deliverables, and technical specifications,



while maintaining organized session files and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular presence at studios, rehearsal spaces, and event venues.

Qualifications

- Strong music production skills, including arranging, composing support, and overseeing recording and mixing processes.
- Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and recording studio equipment, such as microphones, interfaces, consoles, and monitoring systems.
- Sound engineering capabilities, including audio editing, mixing, basic mastering, and troubleshooting technical issues during sessions.
- Experience coordinating live concert recordings and event productions, including stage sound checks and collaboration with technical crews.
- Ability to work closely with artists, labels, and creative teams, with strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail in session organization, file management, and adherence to technical and delivery standards required by music labels.
- Prior experience in music production or sound recording in studio or live environments; experience with major labels or large-scale events is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in audio engineering, music production, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent qualified experience.
