We are expanding our Microsoft Power Platform capability and are looking for an experienced Power Apps Developer who can work on enterprise-grade applications involving Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate and AI/Copilot capabilities.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Power Apps / Power Platform Developer who can translate business requirements into scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

The candidate will work closely with the Project/Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, Dataverse developers, AI/Copilot developers and QA team to design, develop, test and deploy business applications.

This is a hands-on development role and requires strong experience in Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate, along with the ability to understand enterprise business processes and integration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Power Apps Development

- Design and develop enterprise-grade Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces based on business requirements.
- Develop reusable components and application frameworks.
- Implement complex business logic and workflows.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability and maintainability.

Dataverse
- Work extensively with Microsoft Dataverse as the application's system of record.
- Design tables, relationships, columns, views, forms and business rules.
- Implement security roles and appropriate access controls.
- Work with Dataverse APIs and integrations where required.
- Optimize data models and application performance.

Power Automate & Automation
- Design and develop Power Automate cloud flows.
- Automate business processes, notifications, approvals and integrations.
- Handle error management, exception handling and monitoring.
- Integrate Power Platform applications with external systems and APIs.

Integration
- Integrate Power Apps with:
- REST APIs
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- SQL databases




- External business applications
- Other enterprise systems
- Understand authentication mechanisms such as OAuth/API authentication.
- Work with solution architects to implement scalable integration patterns.

AI / Copilot Collaboration
- Work with the AI/Copilot team to integrate AI-driven capabilities into Power Platform applications.
- Support integration with Microsoft Copilot Studio where required.
- Understand how AI agents interact with Dataverse and enterprise data.
- Implement application components required to expose data and business processes to AI agents.

Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit testing and developer-level functional testing.
- Support QA teams during system and UAT testing.
- Troubleshoot defects and production issues.
- Participate in deployment and release activities.
- Follow Power Platform Solutions, ALM and environment management best practices.

Documentation
- Prepare technical documentation for applications and integrations.
- Document configuration, workflows, data models and deployment processes.
- Maintain development standards and reusable technical assets.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

- 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Solid hands-on experience with Power Apps.
- Strong experience with Canvas Apps.
- Experience with Model-Driven Apps.
- Strong Dataverse experience.
- Solid Power Automate experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of Power Platform security and permissions.
- Experience with Power Platform Solutions and deployment.
- Good understanding of relational database concepts.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI / Azure Fundamentals

Certifications are preferred but strong hands-on project experience will be considered more important.

Experience Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Delivered production Power Platform applications.
- Worked on enterprise implementations rather than only internal/demo applications.
- Experience working with Solution Architects and business stakeholders.
- Experience taking applications from requirements → design → development → testing → deployment → hypercare.
- Experience handling complex Dataverse data models.
- Experience integrating Power Apps with external systems.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can operate beyond simply building screens in Power Apps. You should be able to understand a business requirement, participate in solution discussions, design the appropriate Power Platform implementation, develop the application, troubleshoot issues and work with the wider project team through deployment.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are therefore important.
