(MSc Microbiology Mandatory )

Assist in receiving, labeling, and processing clinical specimens such as blood, urine, sputum, pus, and swabs under supervision.

Assist with culture preparation, inoculation, incubation, and identification of microorganisms.

Perform basic staining procedures such as Gram staining and ZN staining under supervision.

Assist in culture and sensitivity / antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

Support routine serology and other microbiological investigations as assigned.

Maintain accurate laboratory records, worksheets, and test observations.

Follow laboratory SOPs, biosafety precautions, and infection-control practices.

Assist in preparation and maintenance of culture media, reagents, and laboratory materials.





Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laboratory equipment and work areas.

Assist with quality-control activities and laboratory audits.

Monitor and report expired or insufficient laboratory supplies.

Follow proper biomedical-waste segregation and disposal procedures.

Maintain patient confidentiality and laboratory data security.

Coordinate with senior microbiologists and laboratory staff regarding test procedures and findings.
