Kumaran Hospital (NABH NABL Accredited) is Hiring for Medical Officer - Insurance

Experience: 0-2Years (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with consultants to obtain complete and accurate discharge summaries for insured patients.
- Review discharge summaries to ensure diagnosis, treatment, procedures, investigations, medications, and follow-up instructions are correctly documented.
- Verify that all documents required by insurance companies and TPAs are complete before claim submission.
- Coordinate with the billing department to ensure final bills match the medical documentation.
- Submit discharge summaries and supporting documents to insurance companies/TPAs within the required timelines.
- Follow up with consultants and departments for pending documentation to avoid discharge delays.
- Respond promptly to insurance company and TPA queries regarding discharge summaries and medical records.
- Ensure all insurance documentation complies with hospital policies, NABH standards, and payer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of claim submissions, approvals,



pending cases, and rejected claims.
- Coordinate with patients and attendants regarding insurance documentation and discharge procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient medical records and insurance information.
- Assist in internal audits, NABH assessments, and quality improvement initiatives related to insurance documentation.

Salary: ₹35,000.00 per month - ₹45.000.00 per month
