nGAMMA Marine Training Institute Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to handle the mechanical installation and integration of an electric propulsion system for a manned marine training vessel.

Key Responsibilitiesn

n
- Install and align the propulsion motor with the shafting system.
n
- Design or modify motor foundations, brackets and mountings.
n
- Coordinate motor coupling, shaft, stern tube and propeller installation.
n
- Carry out shaft and motor alignment.
n
- Coordinate fabrication and machining work.
n
- Assist with mechanical integration of the electric steering system.
n
- Supervise installation of windlasses and associated equipment.
n
- Check machinery clearances,



vibration and mechanical performance.
n
- Troubleshoot alignment, vibration and mechanical installation issues.
n
- Support commissioning, harbour trials and sea trials.
n
- Maintain mechanical drawings and installation records.
n

n

QualificationnDiploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.

n

Preferred Skillsn

n
- Marine propulsion, shaft alignment, couplings, stern tubes, bearings, rotating machinery, fabrication and mechanical installation.
n
- Experience in shipyards, boatbuilding, marine machinery or propulsion installation is preferred.
n
