Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Material Handling and Processing Specialist to oversee daily coal movement, plant processing, loading/unloading operations and housekeeping at our plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Handling & Logistics:
- Supervise end-to-end movement of raw coal (ROM), washed coal, and washery rejects within the plant layout.
- Oversee smooth operation of material handling equipment, including belt conveyors, crushers, vibrating screens, hoppers, and feeders.
- Coordinate heavy vehicle logistics (Tippers, Pay loaders, Excavators) for seamless coal dumping, stacking, and feeding.
- Loading & Unloading Operations:
- Manage high-volume coal unloading from incoming rakes/trucks and loading of processed coal for dispatch.
- Ensure accurate weighbridge entries, sampling checks, and material reconciliation (Inflow vs. Processed Outflow).
- Plant Operations & Housekeeping:
- Enforce strict, continuous plant housekeeping standards to prevent dust accumulation, material spillage, and spontaneous combustion hazards.
- Oversee routine cleanliness around conveyor galleries, transfer towers, washery sumps, and loading bays.




- Monitor stockyard coal systematically on a grade-wise and mines-wise basis, with separate identification and storage of rejects and washed coal, to ensure smooth, productive, and controlled coal handling and processing.

* Workforce & Safety Management:

- Lead shift operators, contract labor, and heavy equipment drivers to meet daily production targets.
- Enforce site safety rules, dust suppression systems, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
- Prepare daily shift reports detailing coal throughput, equipment uptime, spillage levels, and dispatch figures.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience: 8-10 years of direct work experience in a Coal Washery or heavy coal material handling plant.
- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of washery Coal sizing and Coal Quality and Grade etc.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage contractual workforce, shift schedules, and operational stress under demanding plant environments.
- Safety First: Strong emphasis on industrial safety, dust management, and risk mitigation in coal handling environments.
