Job Summary

The Manager – Outbound Operations is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end outbound logistics process, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of orders while maintaining high efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

Manage daily outbound operations including picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure orders are processed and shipped within defined TAT.

Monitor order flow and prioritize urgent shipments.

Maintain accuracy in order fulfillment and minimize errors.

1. Team Management

Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff and supervisors. Plan manpower allocation based on volume projections.

Drive team productivity and performance improvement.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

1. Process Optimization

Identify process gaps and implement improvements. Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.

Implement automation/tools where applicable.

1. Coordination & Communication





Collaborate with inbound, inventory, and transportation teams. Work with courier/logistics partners for smooth dispatch.

Escalate and resolve operational issues promptly.

1. MIS & Reporting

Track KPIs like dispatch TAT, order accuracy, fill rate, etc. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.

Analyze data to improve operational performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

8–10 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations

Solid leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in e-commerce or 3PL operations

Knowledge of automation and process improvement tools

Familiarity with WMS systems

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
