Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for an experienced Manager & Dy. Manager Electrical Maintenance to lead the plant electrical maintenance and automation function, ensuring protected, reliable and efficient operation of all electrical systems and production lines. The candidate will be responsible for equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, electrical and automation troubleshooting, team management, CAPEX/project execution, energy optimization, safety compliance and maintenance cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete electrical maintenance and automation function of the plant and ensure high equipment availability and reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies to minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
- Lead electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of Decarbonization/Processing Lines, Heat Flattening/Heat Treatment Lines and Slitting Lines.
- Ensure reliable operation of motors, AC drives, heaters, PLC/HMI, sensors, encoders, interlocks, control systems and electrical panels.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PLC systems ABB, Siemens and Rockwell Automation and AC Drives ABB, Siemens and Allen-Bradley, including troubleshooting, programming/logic review and parameter management.
- Drive process-line reliability improvement, breakdown reduction and permanent corrective actions for critical equipment.
- Monitor key maintenance parameters such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, breakdown frequency and downtime and implement improvement actions.




- Lead CAPA for major and repetitive electrical/automation failures.
- Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Projects, Quality and Safety teams for smooth plant operation.
- Lead electrical and automation activities for CAPEX, expansion, modernization and modification projects, including engineering review, installation, commissioning and trial runs.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, SLDs, MCC/PCC panels, PLC/RIO panels, drive systems and vendor proposals.
- Manage OEMs, system integrators and vendors for technical issues, project execution and commissioning activities.
- Drive automation modernization, equipment upgradation and obsolescence-management projects.
- Identify and implement opportunities for energy reduction, power optimization and electrical equipment efficiency, including high-efficiency motors, drives and power-factor improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO, Permit-to-Work, electrical isolation, earthing and protection requirements.
- Lead electrical safety audits and ensure timely closure of identified observations.
- Prepare and control the electrical maintenance budget and optimize maintenance expenditure without compromising safety and reliability.
- Develop and maintain a critical electrical and automation spare-parts strategy and control obsolete/non-moving inventory.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, safe operation, reliability enhancement and cost optimization within the electrical department.
