Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability, efficiency, and availability of equipment, production lines, and facilities. You will plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production operations.

You will also work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and external suppliers to improve equipment performance, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

- Planning and executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and automation-related equipment issues.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring breakdowns and downtime.
- Supporting maintenance activities related to sheet metal stamping, machining, fabrication, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Coordinating with Production, Quality, and Supplier Quality Assurance teams to resolve equipment and process-related issues.
- Supporting supplier quality activities, including PPAP, problem-solving, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Managing critical spare parts, maintenance records, service schedules,



and equipment documentation.
- Supporting the installation, commissioning, modification, and validation of new machines and production equipment.
- Monitoring maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, downtime, and equipment availability.
- Ensuring compliance with LOTO procedures, safety standards, statutory requirements, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
- Supporting cost reduction, productivity improvement, and equipment reliability enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications for the Role

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline. Mechatronics qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in Switchgear, Automobile, Electronics, or other manufacturing industries.
- Robust hands-on experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and automation systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of sheet metal stamping, machining, fabrication, and assembly equipment.
- Knowledge of Supplier Quality Assurance, PPAP, RCA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Understanding of maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and equipment downtime.
- Knowledge of LOTO, TPM, 5S, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and support maintenance activities as required.
