About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a refrigerator manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for managing core plant maintenance activities, ensuring maximum equipment availability, minimizing breakdowns, and leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete mechanical, electrical, and production equipment maintenance for the refrigerator manufacturing plant.
- Mandatory experience in Thermoforming Machine Maintenance.
- Handle maintenance of refrigerator manufacturing line equipment and associated production machinery.
- Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related breakdowns.
- Monitor machine availability, breakdown hours, MTTR and MTBF.
- Conduct Why-Why Analysis / Root Cause Analysis for major and repetitive breakdowns.
- Ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage maintenance manpower, shift activities, and daily work allocation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Projects, and other departments.




- Manage critical maintenance spares and ensure availability of required components.
- Coordinate with machine OEMs, vendors, and external service providers.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities.
- Identify opportunities for downtime reduction, productivity improvement, and maintenance cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Mandatory Documentation & MIS Candidate should have robust experience in maintenance documentation and reporting, including:
- Why-Why Analysis / RCA
- MTTR & MTBF Reports
- Machine Breakdown & Downtime Reports
- Preventive Maintenance Reports
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Maintenance MIS
- Machine History & Maintenance Records
- Employee Monthly Performance Reports
- Spare Parts Consumption & Requirement Reports
- Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) Reports

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of core maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Thermoforming Machine Maintenance experience is mandatory.
- Experience in refrigerator / consumer durable / plastic manufacturing plants will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, sensors, drives, motors, and automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and breakdown analysis skills.
- Good knowledge of maintenance KPIs and documentation.
- Strong team-handling and leadership skills.
