Role Description The Maintenance Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure to support continuous production. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, executing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.

The Maintenance

Engineer will collaborate with production, quality,



and safety teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, maintain maintenance documentation, and support equipment upgrades or installations. The role also includes monitoring spare parts inventory, supporting vendor coordination, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in plant reliability and safety.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Maintenance Engineering and Equipment Maintenance for manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Maintenance & Repair for mechanical systems and production machinery.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling, execution, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Electrical Maintenance, including troubleshooting electrical panels, drives, and control systems.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, nutraceutical, or process manufacturing plants is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and basic utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, water treatment) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shifts when required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
