Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Coordinator to manage import coordination, local dispatch operations, supplier communication, and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth flow of goods from suppliers to warehouse and customers, maintain operational efficiency, and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate should be comfortable traveling to the Bhiwandi warehouse whenever operational requirements arise and should have a hands-on approach toward warehouse and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Import Coordination
- Coordinate and monitor import shipments from suppliers.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, CHA agents, transporters, and other logistics partners.
- Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery of imported goods.
- Maintain import documentation and records.
Sales & Purchase Order Coordination
- Process and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs).
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and inventory availability.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain accurate order records and provide status updates to management
Dispatch & Transportation Management
- Plan and coordinate local dispatches to customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and delivery partners.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues and customer delivery concerns.
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate warehouse activities and inventory movement.
- Manage and monitor refilling activities at the warehouse.
- Ensure proper stock handling, storage, and inventory records.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to maintain operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bcom or B.A (Graduate)
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or dispatch management.
- Experience handling imports and supplier coordination preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in logistics and warehouse coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to the Bhiwandi warehouse whenever required.
- Hands-on approach with robust follow-up skills.
