Logistics Executive – Pharmaceutical Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate end-to-end pharmaceutical logistics operations, including shipment planning, documentation, shipment tracking, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have experience in pharmaceutical logistics, export/import, international shipments, or temperature-controlled supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate movement of pharmaceutical products from source to destination.
- Plan and schedule shipments to meet delivery timelines.
- Track shipments and coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, CHAs and clearing agents.
- Prepare and manage invoices, airway bills, shipping bills, bills of lading and other logistics documents.
- Ensure documentation complies with applicable pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, QA/QC and other internal teams.
- Monitor inventory movement and identify discrepancies.
- Handle shipment delays, transit issues and documentation discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers for freight rates and delivery schedules.
- Prepare MIS reports covering shipments, logistics costs and timelines.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and support audit requirements.




- Update and maintain logistics information in relevant software/systems.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and documentation.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Knowledge of cold-chain packaging will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Pharmaceutical logistics / export-import / international logistics.
- Temperature-controlled pharmaceutical supply chain.
- Customs clearance and export documentation.
- International trade processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Commerce or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharma, logistics or supply chain.
- Minimum 2 years of logistics experience preferred.
- Valuable command of English.
