Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Load Balancer Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in F5 BIG-IP and A10 Thunder technologies. The role involves supporting enterprise-scale application delivery environments, troubleshooting network and application connectivity issues, handling L2 escalations, automation, and working with global teams in a Follow-the-Sun operations model.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, Unix/Linux, and experience managing high-volume enterprise load-balancing environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support F5 BIG-IP and A10 Thunder Load Balancers in a large enterprise setting.
- Provide L2 support and troubleshooting for load-balancer, network connectivity, and application delivery issues.
- Support internal and external client-facing application flows across distributed environments.
- Perform fault analysis, incident resolution, failure avoidance, and root-cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and application connectivity.
- Support a high number of devices and application flows while maintaining service availability and performance.
- Work with application delivery and management platforms for configuration, deployment, monitoring, and service management.
- Handle production incidents, outages, escalations, and service requests in a high-pressure environment.
- Develop automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.
- Contribute to process improvements, operational automation, and standardization.




- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, network teams, and global SMEs.
- Participate in a global Follow-the-Sun support model and work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and techniques related to application delivery, networking, automation, and infrastructure.

Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Load Balancer / Application Delivery environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP.
- Strong hands-on experience with A10 Thunder.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, TCP, IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Good understanding of network troubleshooting and connectivity analysis.
- Experience with Unix/Linux system administration.
- Experience with at least one automation/programming technology:

- Python

- Ansible

- Perl

- PowerShell
- C#
- Experience in L2 production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and outage handling.
- Knowledge of automation, scripting, monitoring, and operational tools.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or distributed environments is preferred.
