Legal Manager Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager for one of our clients in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organisations interests and minimise legal and regulatory risks.
- Review, draft and negotiate legal and commercial agreements, including MoUs, NDAs, partnership/collaboration agreements, vendor contracts, consultancy agreements, HR contracts and grant agreements.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution and compliance.
- Lead internal legal compliance and support corporate governance requirements.
- Provide legal advice to the Co-Founders, senior management and internal stakeholders on commercial, corporate and employment-related matters.
- Advise on contract law, labour regulations, intellectual property, data privacy, corporate and general commercial laws.
- Liaise with relevant local, state and central government authorities on legal and regulatory matters.
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks in collaboration with internal teams.
- Work closely with HR, Finance and other enabling functions on legal and documentation requirements.




- Manage relationships with external legal counsels, consultants and other legal experts.
- Support senior leadership in legal matters and contribute to organisational policies and strategic decision-making.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a Legal Manager or similar leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) preferred. Additional relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and employment-related legal matters.
- Excellent legal drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
- Robust stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
- Strategic approach to risk identification, mitigation and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, particularly within a social-impact-oriented organisation.
