Qualifications & Skills

- Education: LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. in corporate or technology law an advantage.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive legal and compliance experience, including in-house leadership in the IT/ITES/BPO or technology sector, with substantial exposure to multi-state Indian labour and employment compliance.

- Knowledge:
- Indian corporate law (Companies Act, 2013) and IT/outsourcing regulations
- Multi-state labour & employment compliance, including the state Shops & Establishments Acts
- Indias new Labour Codes and wage codes
- Data privacy & cybersecurity regulations, including Indias DPDPA and applicable US laws (CCPA, HIPAA)

- Skills:
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate, labour, and commercial contracting matters
- Ability to manage compliance across Indian and US legal frameworks
- Analytical and problem-solving approach
