Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Lead PLC Programmer / Lead Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI development, machine development and industrial automation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging and commissioning PLC-based automation systems for industrial machines, SPMs and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop PLC programs from scratch for industrial machines and SPMs.
- Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs using ladder logic or other suitable programming methods.
- Develop and configure HMI screens, machine sequences, alarms and interlocks.
- Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta or Allen-Bradley.
- Integrate and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, sensors and actuators.
- Understand and develop machine sequence, interlocks and control logic.
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs, outputs, sensors, actuators and communication-related issues.
- Understand electrical control-panel drawings and PLC I/O schematics.
- Perform PLC and HMI testing during machine development.
- Lead machine testing, debugging and commissioning activities.
- Support FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and Project teams during machine development.
- Identify automation issues and provide technical solutions.
- Guide junior PLC/Automation engineers and technicians.
- Prepare PLC/HMI backups, program documentation and commissioning reports.
- Support existing automation projects and machine improvements.

Required Skills





- Strong hands-on PLC programming experience.
- Experience developing PLC programs from scratch.
- Ladder logic and machine sequence programming.
- HMI development and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of at least one PLC platform.
- Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron / Delta / Allen-Bradley preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of VFD and servo drives.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators and pneumatics.
- Good understanding of PLC I/O and control-panel drawings.
- Machine development / machine building experience.
- SPM / Special Purpose Machine experience preferred.
- Machine commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- Good problem-solving and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on automation projects.
