Role & responsibilities

Supplier onboarding & Supplier audits:

a. Plan & execute supplier qualification/ evaluation audits for aerospace finish product, hardwares, shelf-life items and special process suppliers. Maintain the audit records in line to the AQMS requirements.

b. Plan & execute the periodic supplier audits, reporting of results and timely closer of the audit observations by following with suppliers.

Supplier SCAR (Supplier corrective action request):

a. Supplier non-conformance/discrepancy review, handling of supplier escapes through supplier SCAR, timely & effective closer of the supplier SCARs by working collaboratively with supplier.

b. Review supplier 8D , RCCA and share feedback, monitor the effectiveness of the supplier 8D and share timely feedback.

Supplier performance monitoring:

a. Maintain the suppliers KPIs matrices (Supplier DPPM, Escape trend, Adherence to SCAR timeline & supplier scores) as per the organization KPI monitoring process.

b. Share the monthly performance report with the supplier with detailed report to enable supplier to take corrective actions to improve the quality.

c. Establish the quality improvement plan (QIP deck) for underperforming and progressing supplier & conduct biweekly review meeting with the supplier on corrective action plans.

Supplier Development:

a. Actively engage with suppliers in current product development,



review the supplier manufacturing and inspection process plan, review supplier technical gap analysis, specification, and customer requirement compliance during new product developments.

b. Train the supplier on new requirements and supplier flow-downs with respect to quality.

c. Review supplier FMEA, control plan & Inspection plans.

d. First article inspection of FAI parts at supplier site, review FAIR and approval.

e. Visit supplier place for source inspection of FAI parts and subsequent batches till the process stability and maturity is attained.

Incoming material control:

a. Handle the incoming inspection team and ensure timely clearance of inward parts.

b. Train incoming inspection team on new requirements.

c. Oversee incoming inspection process and improve inspection process by developing SAP quality plans.

d. Familiar with Airbus QPL and Boeing D1-4426 approved source viewing portals for material clearance.

e. Familiar with SAP QM module and QA 32 module for SAP NC creation and incoming material QA clearance.
