About the Role

This role is for the lead audiologist for an innovative hearing care company building a technology-enabled, teleaudiology-first care model. You who have the opportunity to build the entire clinical backbone tform from zero protocols, device portfolio, and eventually a team of audiologists.

care systems from the ground up. This is a design-and-do role hwere simultaneously build clinical infrastructure and carry a full caseload of patient-facing teleconsults. It is not a pure management position, and not a plug-into-existing-SOPs clinical role.

Role & responsibilities

1. Design end-to-end clinical care protocols screening triage, consultations structure, goal-setting, fitting verification, and follow-up cadence
2. Define tympanometry and in-person diagnostic protocols for consultations at home, in clinics and virtual visits
3. Design patient interface, clinical care & patient counselling systems & protocols
4. Evaluate and select partner devices portfolio, define device recommendation strategies by hearing loss degree/lifestyle/budget, and advise on clinical requirements for a private-label device portfolio
5. Conduct video teleconsults history review, audiogram validation, goal-setting, remote speech-in-noise testing and scheduled follow-up calls per the defined care cadence
6. Counsel patients and their families regarding hearing loss, hearing-aid usage, realistic expectations, and rehabilitation.
7. Perform live remote fine-tuning of devices based on patient feedback and usage data, with full clinical documentation for every encounter
8. Recruit, train, and supervise audiologists; set caseload standards, quality audit criteria, and escalation SOPs

Monitor clinical anomaly flags for escalation, build and maintain the partner specialist/clinic referral network, and track post-market clinical signal for regulatory compliance
10. Coordinate with ENT specialists, healthcare professionals, and internal teams whenever required.
11. Support patient retention through regular follow-ups and long-term hearing-care management.
12. Stay updated with new hearing-aid technologies, products, fitting methodologies, and developments in audiology.
13. Ensure adherence to ethical, clinical, and evidence-based audiology practices.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology / Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) & valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registration.
2. Minimum 5-7 years of direct clinical audiology experience, including hearing aid fitting and verification (REM or NAL-NL2 fitting formula experience specifically)
3. Experience in hearing-aid sales consultation and patient counselling, across pediatric, geriatric, or complex hearing-loss cases.
4. Robust knowledge of diagnostic audiology, hearing assessment procedures, different hearing-aid technologies, brands, and product categories.
5. Prior experience managing or mentoring other audiologists
6. Existing referral relationships with ENT surgeons/departments in Delhi NCR
7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients and families.
8. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for clinical documentation, reporting, and data tracking, with working comfort using AI tools to support documentation and administrative efficiency
