Role Description This is a full time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in Coimbatore. The Laboratory Technician along with team, will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, prepare test samples, and perform routine and specialized reliability tests of electrical and electronic products in line with established Indian and International St andards.

Responsibilities include recording and analyzing test data, supporting quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety guidelines.



The role involves assisting senior technical staff in test setup, troubleshooting basic equipment issues, documenting procedures, and contributing to the smooth functioning of day-to-day laboratory operations. The technician will collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and uphold the accuracy and reliability of testing services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills as per ISO 17025 in Testing and practical experience as Laboratory Technician / Engineer.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (Electrodynamic Vibration Shaker , thermal / Climatic Chamber, Dust / Water test chambers and its operation, calibration, and basic maintenance.
- Candidates should possess solid quality control knowledge, including adherence to testing standards and documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills for interpreting test results, identifying anomalies, and preparing clear reports.
- Bachelor degree in science or engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related disciplines).
- Understanding of safety protocols, good laboratory practices, and ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality systems is beneficial.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, work accurately under time constraints, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in testing, inspection, or certification laboratories, especially in industrial or engineering domains, is an advantage.
