WE ARE HIRING – BIOCHEMISTRY IN-CHARGE

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Biochemistry In-Charge to lead and manage the Biochemistry section of our laboratory.

Position: Biochemistry In-Charge

Location: STAR Hospitals, Nanakramguda, Financial District, Hyderabad

Qualification:

- MSc Biochemistry / MSc Medical Biochemistry / MLT or relevant qualification
- Relevant laboratory certifications as applicable

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in Clinical Biochemistry
- Prior experience in a supervisory / in-charge role in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Biochemistry laboratory
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of biochemical investigations
- Supervise laboratory staff and allocate work efficiently
- Monitor Quality Control (QC), Calibration, and External Quality Assurance (EQAS)




- Ensure compliance with NABL / NABH and laboratory quality standards
- Monitor equipment performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Review and validate test results as per established protocols
- Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and SOPs
- Coordinate with clinicians and other laboratory departments
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and laboratory protocols

Preferred Skills:

- Strong knowledge of clinical biochemistry and laboratory operations
- Valuable leadership and team-management skills
- Knowledge of NABL/NABH requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
