We are hiring a Kafka and DevOps / Streaming Platform Engineer.

At VoiseTech , we are building a high-scale AdTech platform designed to process billions of real-time events every day. We are looking for an engineer who combines deep Apache Kafka experience with strong DevOps and infrastructure skills.

This is not a role where Kafka is simply consumed as a managed cloud service. You will work close to the infrastructure — designing, deploying, operating, and performance-tuning our streaming stack across self-managed Kafka, Kubernetes, and dedicated bare-metal infrastructure.

What you will work with

Apache Kafka | Kafka KRaft | Kubernetes | Docker | Linux | ClickHouse | Redis | MongoDB | FastAPI | Prometheus | Grafana | CI/CD | Bare Metal

Exposure to Apache Flink is a robust plus.

What you will own

- Deploy, configure, administer, and upgrade self-managed Apache Kafka clusters
- Own Kafka topics, partitions, replication, retention, consumer groups, and capacity planning
- Diagnose production issues including consumer lag, broker failures, partition imbalance, rebalancing, and throughput bottlenecks
- Build and operate Kubernetes and Docker infrastructure for high-throughput services
- Work with ClickHouse, Redis, and MongoDB infrastructure
- Benchmark systems for QPS, throughput, latency, network utilization, CPU, memory, and scalability
- Build monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus and Grafana
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Bash, Python, and CI/CD




- Participate in production troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and performance engineering
- Help us continuously improve reliability as traffic scales by orders of magnitude

What we are looking for

You should have 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience, including meaningful production experience with Apache Kafka. We specifically want someone who has installed, configured, operated, and troubleshot Kafka clusters — not only developed Kafka producers and consumers.

Strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed systems are important. Experience with some of the following is a plus: Kafka KRaft, Flink, Kafka Connect, ClickHouse administration, Redis, MongoDB, Helm, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and bare-metal infrastructure.

We want engineers who are AI-driven, not AI-dependent. Use AI aggressively to move faster — investigation, automation, coding, debugging, and documentation — but understand the systems you operate, validate the output, and be capable of diagnosing production problems independently.
