About the Role

Harsham Group is looking for a passionate, problem-solving Java Developer Intern to join our engineering hub in Hyderabad. In this role, you will work closely with senior backend and full-stack engineers to design, build, and optimize scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. If you write clean Java code, understand OOP deeply, and are eager to ship production-grade features, we want you on the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java (JDK 17 ) and Spring Boot.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries, schema designs, and interactions with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write unit and integration tests using JUnit/Mockito and participate in peer code reviews.
- Collaboration: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with product managers, QA, and frontend engineers.
- Troubleshooting: Debug application issues, profile performance bottlenecks,



and assist in cloud deployment pipelines (Docker/AWS basics a plus).

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, MCA, or equivalent practical coding background.
- Core Technical Stack:
- Solid command of Core Java (Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, OOP principles).
- Familiarity with Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Hibernate (JPA).
- Basic understanding of SQL & Database design.
- Good-to-Have / Bonus:
- Exposure to Docker, Git/GitHub workflows, or basic AWS/cloud concepts.
- Experience with a personal or academic full-stack project demonstrating API integration.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, proactive communicator, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced product/services environment.
