Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our technology team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Java and related technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications and APIs while working closely with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend applications using Java.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in technical discussions, application architecture, and solution design.
- Design, develop, and optimize database queries and ensure efficient data management.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.




- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4 to 10 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Have robust hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Good to Have

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and high availability.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
