Job Purpose The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for executing preventive and breakdown maintenance of heavy plant machinery within the AAC block manufacturing unit. The primary focus is to ensure optimum machine availability, minimize production downtime, and assist in the smooth operation of specialized concrete processing equipment

Key Responsibilities

- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency breakdown maintenance on core AAC plant machinery, including:
- Raw Material Section: Jaw crushers, ball mills, and slurry pumps.
- Dosing & Mixing Unit: Weighing hoppers, heavy slurry mixers, and pouring systems.
- Cutting Line: Cutting machines, wire-changing mechanisms, and tilting cranes.
- Curing Section: Autoclave doors,



high-pressure steam valves, pipelines, and track networks.
- Utility & Handling: Conveyor belts, gearboxes, hydraulic presses, pneumatic actuators, and transfer cars

- Education: ITI (Fitter / Mechanic) trade certificate passed from a recognized NCVT institute. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is also acceptable.

- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience in an AAC Block plant, Cement factory, Fly Ash plant, or heavy industrial manufacturing unit. (Freshers with exceptional practical ITI training may be considered)
