Checklist to be monitored prior to admissionTo ensure patient is discharged as per TAT of < 2hrsTo ensure that discharge summary is thoroughly explained and handed over to the patient while leaving, if not (except in the case of insurance patient) to ensure that the patient leaves the hospital with a valid discharge note.To co-ordinate with Nursing staff to ensure that all investigations and reports are handed over to the patients at the time of discharge and obtain an acknowledgement from the patient (except in MLC cases where documents are sent to MRD).To coordinate and ensure that the intra hospital transfer of patients is carried without delay or discomfort.To undertake appropriate and proactive action deemed fit to protect the interests of patient and hospital.To coordinate and ensure safety and security of patients,



attendants and visitors.To carry out any other task assigned by higher authority.To interact with registrars and consultants to make deliveries one day prior to anticipate discharge.To Conduct daily rounds of all the patients and escalate the patient requirements to concerned department for smooth operationsTo Update patients about the approximate bills incurred on dialy basis and counselling for payments on dialy basis.To coordinate with IP billing an d nursing team to have up to date billing on daily basisTo coordinate with visiting consultants or superspeaciality visits and making sure that they deliver services at the earliest.To cross check billing sheet with patient record to make sure billing sheet is 100% up to date on daily basis.To check discharge sheet before handing over to patients about patient name, age, sex, admission and discharge dates and consultant names with signaturesTo book post discharge followup for patients and inform patients about the same.To make sure cash patients get discharges within 2 hrs and insurance patients within 4 hrs from the time of rounds completionTo make timely delivery of diet services to patients and attendants in coordination with dietetics dept.To make sure patient rooms are ready before admission in coordination with facility teamTo make sure patients know about all the value added services and amenities they can avail.To make sure patient rooms get cleaned with in 1 hour post discharge by coordinating with facility and HK team.To make sure all appliances in their respective areas are in working condition.
