Internship Trainee – Accounts, Taxation, Audit & Equity Research Position: Internship Trainee Department: Finance, Taxation & Research Location: Mundka Duration: 6/12 Months Work Mode: Hybrid Stipend: INR 8,000 to INR 10,000 About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internship Trainee who is interested in gaining practical exposure across Accounting, Taxation, Audit, and Equity Research . The role will provide hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting, direct and indirect taxation, audit and compliance assignments, as well as fundamental analysis of listed companies and equity markets. The candidate will work closely with the senior team and will be expected to learn, analyze, and contribute to real-world assignments.

Key Responsibilities1. AccountingAssist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. Maintain and update accounting records and supporting documentation. Assist in preparation of ledgers, trial balances, bank reconciliations and financial statements.

Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities. Perform basic accounting analysis and identify discrepancies. Work on accounting software and Excel-based financial data.

- TaxationAssist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS and Income Tax related compliances. Assist in preparation of GST reconciliations and other tax-related workings. Support the team in preparation of tax computation and return-related information. Assist in responding to notices and preparing supporting documents. Conduct basic research on applicable tax provisions, rules and circulars. Maintain tax records and compliance documentation.
- AuditAssist in statutory,



internal and tax audit assignments. Verify accounting entries and supporting documents. Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliation. Assist in preparation of audit working papers and schedules. Identify inconsistencies or unusual transactions for review by senior team members. Assist in collecting and organizing information required for audit assignments. Gain practical understanding of audit procedures and internal controls. 4.

Equity

ResearchConduct fundamental research on listed companies and industries. Analyze financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations and stock-exchange disclosures. Prepare company and industry research notes.

Track financial performance, business developments and key corporate announcements. Perform basic financial ratio and valuation analysis. Assist in building and maintaining financial models using Excel.

Study business models, competitive positioning, management quality and industry trends. Support senior analysts in preparing investment research and presentations.

Skills RequiredGood understanding of Accounting and basic Taxation concepts . Strong interest in Equity Markets and Financial Analysis . Good knowledge of MS Excel . Strong analytical and numerical ability.

Good attention to detail. Ability to research and interpret financial information.



Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with large volumes of financial data. Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned work.

Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

QualificationsPursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com Candidates preparing for CA/CMA/CS examinations will be preferred. Prior exposure to accounting software such as Tally and familiarity with GST/Income Tax portals will be an advantage. Basic understanding of financial markets, valuation and financial statements will be an advantage.
