Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our architectural firm. The candidate will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, space planning, preparing detailed drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with the architectural and project teams to ensure the design is executed as intended.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interior design concepts based on project requirements and design brief.
- Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare detailed interior working drawings and construction details.
- Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, design presentations, and client presentation drawings.
- Coordinate with architects and other design consultants to integrate interior requirements with the overall project design.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams during project execution.
- Conduct site visits to review design implementation and resolve design-related issues.
- Review material samples, shop drawings, and mock-ups as required.
- Prepare material schedules and assist with quantity take-offs and BOQs related to interior works.
- Ensure design quality, detailing,



and project timelines are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Valuable understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, finishes, and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SketchUp and other 3D/design software will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare and understand detailed interior drawings.
- Good knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and interior products.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience

- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with experience in an architectural firm or interior design studio will be preferred.
- Experience in interior working drawings, detailing, material selection, and site coordination will be an advantage.

Preferred

- Portfolio demonstrating academic or professional interior design work.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, or workplace interiors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Willingness to visit project sites as required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
