About the Role

At FABDIZ, we are looking for a creative and hands-on Interior Designer to handle residential projects from concept to final handover. If you enjoy interacting directly with clients, developing functional layouts, and seeing your designs come to life on-site, this is the right chance for you.

Once a project is assigned, you will take ownership of the design journey, from client briefs and 3D visualisations to working drawings and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Visualisation: Create space plans, furniture layouts, false ceiling designs, modular kitchen and wardrobe layouts, mood boards, and detailed 3D visualisations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape/V-Ray.
- Client Consultation: Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and budget expectations, and present design concepts confidently.
- Technical & Working Drawings: Prepare accurate execution-ready drawings, including electrical, plumbing, and civil layouts.
- BOQ & Material Coordination: Understand basic material specifications, finishes, and pricing implications to ensure designs are commercially viable and practical.
- Site & Execution Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and installation teams to protect design intent and solve execution challenges on-site as they arises.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in residential interior design and turnkey execution.
- Software Skills: Robust command over AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools like Enscape or V-Ray.
- Technical Knowledge: Good grasp of modular kitchen/wardrobe details, materials, finishes,



and basic BOQ preparation.
- Communication: Excellent client-facing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Portfolio: A well-structured design portfolio showcasing space planning, 3D renders, and executed or managed residential projects.

Application Question(s):
- Have you independently handled residential interior projects from client brief and concept development through design finalisation, site coordination and project handover?
- Do you have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Enscape and use these tools regularly for residential interior design projects?
- Have you personally conducted residential client meetings, presented design concepts and 3D visualisations, handled client feedback and converted requirements into final design solutions?
- Do you have practical experience with modular kitchens/wardrobes, BOQ coordination, material selection and coordinating with site or execution teams to implement your designs?
- Do you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience designing residential interior projects, preferably turnkey projects, including client interaction and design development?
