Job Summary
We are looking for an Injection Moulding Machine Operator / Supervisor to support our plastic injection moulding production operations.
The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, production output, quality, basic troubleshooting, material handling and maintaining smooth production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
- Set and monitor machine parameters as per approved process requirements.
- Ensure production is carried out as per the required quantity and quality standards.
- Monitor parts for defects and take corrective action when required.
- Perform basic machine and process troubleshooting.
- Ensure proper handling and use of raw materials.
- Maintain production records and machine-related documentation.
- Monitor cycle time, production quantity and rejection levels.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S around machines and production areas.
- Follow safety procedures and company work instructions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Production teams.
- Supervise operators and helpers where applicable.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety.
- Report machine, mould, material or quality issues to the concerned person.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in plastic injection moulding preferred.
- Experience operating injection moulding machines is required.
- Knowledge of machine settings and basic process parameters.
- Ability to identify common moulding defects.
- Basic understanding of moulds, materials and injection moulding processes.
- Ability to maintain production and quality records.
- Good discipline and safety awareness.
- Supervisory experience will be an advantage.
- Experience with PP, ABS, PC, PC-ABS and other engineering/plastic materials will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be hands-on, responsible and quality-conscious, with the ability to work independently and coordinate with the production team. Candidates with experience in automotive, electronics or plastic component manufacturing will be preferred.
Overtime will be provided as applicable.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
