Job Summary

We are seeking a technically proficient Industrial Procurement Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in technical purchasing, project procurement, and vendor coordination.

This role bridges the gap between field engineering and global supply chain operations. Candidates with prior hands-on plant/onsite exposure (e.g., site execution, erection, testing, or commissioning in Oil & Gas, Power, or Process plants) who are looking to leverage their technical knowledge in techno-commercial procurement are strongly preferred.

Strict Requirement: Exceptional, fluent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory for daily technical coordination with international suppliers and engineering teams across the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. .

Key Responsibilities

- RFQ Management: Prepare, review, and issue comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RFQs/ITBs) for static equipment, rotating machinery, electrical packages, and instrumentation systems.
- Techno-Commercial Bid Evaluation: Review vendor technical submittals, equipment datasheets, engineering drawings, NMR, and SPDP against client project specifications.
- Global Sourcing & Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with major domestic and international OEMs across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
- Standards & Compliance: Verify that all procured components adhere to applicable international codes and standards (API, ASME, IEC, IEEE, ISO, ATEX, BIS) and hazardous area classifications.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Estimation teams to expedite purchase orders and ensure on-time site delivery.
- Vendor Relationship Management:



Expand and maintain active relationships with global manufacturers, industrial suppliers, and EPC contractors.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in industrial procurement, EPC sourcing, project buying, or direct site/plant engineering.
- Plant / Site Exposure: Prior practical exposure to site execution, erection, commissioning, or plant maintenance is a distinct advantage.
- Communication Skills: Flawless written and spoken English; demonstrated confidence in leading technical calls with international vendors.
- Equipment Knowledge: Working technical knowledge of control valves, actuators, flow meters, pressure/temperature transmitters, switchgear, pumps, motors, compressors, and hazardous area standards (HAZOP/ATEX).
- OEM Familiarity:



Working familiarity with equipment from manufacturers such as Emerson, Flowserve, Fisher, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Yokogawa, KSB, L&T;, Parker, or similar.
