Role Description This is a full time Import Coordinator role based in Mehsana / Ahmedabad Gujarat with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home.

The Import

Coordinator will manage end-to-end import activities, including coordinating shipments, preparing and reviewing documentation, and liaising with customs brokers, transport providers, and internal teams. The role involves tracking ocean shipments, monitoring delivery timelines, resolving import-related issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

The Import

Coordinator will communicate regularly with customers and vendors to provide updates, handle inquiries, and maintain accurate records in internal systems.



The position requires close collaboration with finance and operations to support timely clearances, cost control, and efficient supply chain workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of import processes and regulations, including experience with Import documentation and procedures.
- Experience with Customs Brokerage activities, including coordination with customs agents and understanding of clearance requirements.
- Familiarity with Ocean freight operations, including booking, tracking, and coordinating with shipping lines or freight forwarders.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with internal teams, suppliers, service providers, and customers.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and other office tools; ability to maintain accurate shipment and documentation records.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or international trade, preferably in the chemicals or related industries.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred.
