Role & responsibilities

- Create, modify and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using UG NX (Siemens NX).

- Support Body Design and vehicle packaging activities for automotive programs.

- Develop and modify Body-related components based on engineering requirements.

- Perform design updates based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

- Ensure designs meet vehicle packaging, interface and engineering requirements.

- Perform design feasibility checks and identify potential design/package conflicts.

- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.

- Maintain CAD data quality and ensure proper configuration of design data.

Vehicle Engineering Activities

- Work with vehicle-level architecture and packaging requirements.

- Understand interfaces between Body, Exterior, Interior, Chassis and other vehicle systems.

- Support vehicle package studies and integration activities.

- Perform DMU, clearance and interference/clash checks.

- Identify and resolve design issues in coordination with cross-functional teams.

- Support engineering changes throughout the product development cycle.
