Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated IB MYP Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and the ability to create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences for middle school and secondary students.

The teacher will be responsible for delivering Chemistry and Science lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), encouraging students to develop scientific thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry and Science lessons aligned with the IB MYP curriculum.
- Develop students' understanding of Chemistry concepts through inquiry-based and student-centred learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, worksheets, practical activities, projects, and assessments.
- Conduct and supervise Chemistry laboratory experiments and practical activities while maintaining appropriate safety standards.




- Encourage students to apply scientific knowledge to real-world situations.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical, research, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment, and academic performance.
- Support students in developing effective research, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Integrate ICT and digital learning tools into classroom instruction where appropriate.
- Follow school policies, academic standards, laboratory safety procedures, and IB MYP requirements.Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry) preferred / required.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and General Science.
- Previous experience teaching Chemistry or Science at the Middle School / Secondary School level.
- Experience with the IB MYP curriculum will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, or other recognised curricula may also be considered.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- Proficiency in ICT and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to conduct and manage laboratory activities safely.

The ideal candidate should be able to make Chemistry engaging and relevant by connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications and encouraging students to question, investigate, analyse, and draw evidence-based conclusions.

The candidate must me ready to commit for minimum period of 2 years.
