We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR & Performance Manager who can take complete ownership of recruitment, employee discipline, attendance, productivity, performance measurement, and workplace accountability.
The selected candidate will work closely with the CEO to build a professional, energetic, and results-focused work culture. This role requires someone who can take initiative, identify performance gaps, and implement measurable systems without requiring constant supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create job descriptions and publish vacancies on Indeed and other recruitment platforms
- Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, coordinate final interviews, and perform reference checks
- Recruit suitable employees within approved budgets and timelines

- Conduct structured onboarding and clearly communicate roles, targets, policies, and expectations

- Conduct daily follow-ups and weekly performance reviews
- Identify lethargic, underperforming, or unaccountable work behaviour and take timely corrective action
- Issue professional warnings, performance-improvement plans, and escalation reports when required
- Ensure employees understand that performance will be evaluated based on output, quality, deadlines, and ownership—not merely attendance
- Provide the CEO with factual and measurable employee-performance reports
Attendance and Workplace Discipline:
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, breaks,
leave, and working-hour compliance
- Maintain accurate leave, attendance, payroll-input, and employee records
- Enforce workplace policies consistently and professionally
- Improve office discipline, communication, teamwork, urgency, and responsibility
- Resolve employee concerns while protecting the company’s operational interests
HR Operations and Compliance:

- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, incentives, deductions, and attendance information
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information
- Support statutory documentation and basic labour-law compliance
- Handle resignations, notice periods, clearances, exit interviews, and full-and-final coordination
- Ensure employee files and HR documents remain complete and updated
Business and Leadership Support:
- Work directly with the CEO to understand business priorities and workforce requirements
- Coordinate between Amazon, Shopify, warehouse, retail, accounts, creative, and operations teams
- Follow up on important tasks and ensure departmental commitments are completed
- Help build a performance-driven culture across Micromini and its sub-brands
- Identify gaps in manpower, skills, processes, and accountability and recommend solutions
- Take ownership of people-related problems until they are resolved
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR, recruitment, employee engagement, or performance management
- Experience in a small or medium-sized business, start-up, e-commerce, retail, or operations environment is preferred
- Strong recruitment, interviewing, follow-up, and employee-management skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations firmly and professionally
- Good knowledge of attendance, leave, payroll inputs, HR documentation, and performance reviews
- Robust Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and report directly to the CEO
- Strong organisational ability, confidentiality, judgement, and attention to detail
PERFORMANCE WILL BE MEASURED THROUGH
- Recruitment turnaround time and quality of hires
- Employee attendance and punctuality improvements
- Completion and accuracy of employee KPI trackers
- Reduction in pending, delayed, and unmeasurable work
- Weekly performance-review consistency
- Employee retention and successful onboarding
- Timely completion of HR documents and payroll inputs
- Improvement in overall team accountability and productivity
