About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Executive to manage labour law compliance, statutory obligations, and day-to day HR operations for our piling and excavation business. The role requires strong working knowledge of construction sector labour regulations and hands-on experience managing both office staff and site-based contract/daily-wage labour.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure end-to-end labour law compliance: PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus Act, Payment of Wages Act, Gratuity Act, and Minimum Wages Act
Manage compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act — licensing, registers, and contractor compliance for subcontracted/migrant site labour
Handle Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act compliance, including cess registration, welfare cess payments, and site safety registrations
Maintain statutory registers, wage registers, and attendance/muster rolls for the site workforce
Liaise with labour inspectors, PF/ESI authorities, and local labour departments; represent the company during inspections and audits
Manage site-level HR: onboarding of daily-wage and contract workers,
site attendance systems, and worker welfare (accommodation, safety gear compliance)
Handle core HR functions: recruitment, payroll inputs, leave management, HR policy documentation, and employee grievance resolution
Coordinate with HRMS (Keka) for payroll processing and compliance data accuracy Support statutory audits and ensure timely filing of all labour-related returns Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Labour Law, or related field 2-4 years of HR experience, with meaningful exposure to construction, infrastructure, or EPC site environments Strong working knowledge of BOCW Act, CLRA Act, Factories Act (where applicable), and state-specific Shops & Establishment rules
Practical experience handling both white-collar staff and blue-collar/contract site labour
Prior experience managing statutory audits and government inspections
Proficiency with HRMS/payroll software (Keka experience preferred)
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Preferred Attributes Willingness to visit project/excavation sites as needed for compliance, audits, and inspections
Ability to work independently and handle compliance matters proactively
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced construction/infrastructure environment
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
