Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, business-minded professional who will take end-to-end ownership of the Training Centre as a business unit. This includes setting it up, running daily operations, coordinating all trainings, managing trainers, acquiring customers, and delivering revenue and growth. The role combines operations, business development and quality leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Unit Leadership
- Own the Training Centre's P&L;, annual revenue targets, budget and growth plan.
- Build and carry out the business strategy for India, UAE and GCC markets.
- Define pricing, packages, corporate plans and partnership models.
- Present monthly business performance reports to management.
1. Training Operations &
- Coordination
- Plan and publish the annual and monthly training calendar (classroom, online and onsite corporate batches).
- Coordinate every training end-to-end: scheduling, trainer allocation, venue and system readiness, participant communication, attendance, assessments and certificates.
- Handle participant registration, fee collection follow-up and batch management.
- Ensure every session starts on time and runs smoothly.
1. Curriculum &
- Content Management
- Manage the course catalogue and keep content current with industry practice and product releases.
- Work with product and technical teams to develop course material, manuals, exercises, assessments and certification criteria.
- Build fundamentals-level programmes (e.g., piping spool drafting, document management) as well as software-specific courses.
1. Trainer &
- Faculty Management
- Build a pool of internal and external trainers and subject-matter experts.
- Assign trainers, monitor delivery quality and run train-the-trainer sessions.
- Evaluate trainer performance through participant feedback and assessment results.
1. Sales, Marketing &
- Customer Acquisition
- Generate enrolments from individuals,
corporates, EPC contractors, fabricators and institutes.
- Plan and run free workshops, webinars and seminars as lead-generation activities.
- Coordinate campaigns across email, LinkedIn, social media and the website with the marketing team.
- Build tie-ups with engineering colleges, industry associations and corporate HR/L&D; departments.
- Prepare proposals and quotations for corporate training requirements and follow them through to closure.
- Identify software sales leads from training participants and hand them over to the sales team.
1. Quality, Certification &
- Compliance
- Set up standard operating procedures, feedback mechanisms and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain the integrity of the certification process, including assessments, records and certificate verification.
- Pursue accreditations or recognitions that improve the Academy's credibility.
1. Reporting &
- MIS
- Maintain dashboards covering enrolments, revenue, batch utilization, conversion ratios, feedback scores and collections.
- Report weekly progress to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Training revenue against target, both monthly and annual
- Number of batches conducted and participants trained
- Lead-to-enrolment conversion rate
- Participant feedback score (target: 4.5/5 or above)
- Number of corporate clients and repeat business
- Software sales leads generated from training
- Collection efficiency

- Robust business and entrepreneurial mindset, able to build a unit from the ground up
- Excellent coordination, planning and multitasking abilities
- Sales and negotiation skills, with confidence in dealing with corporate clients
- Excellent written and spoken English communication and presentation skills
- Team leadership and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), CRM tools and LMS platforms
- Willingness to travel to UAE/GCC and client sites
