- Responsible for Project Management for PED Projects; RFQ Management; Project Planning; OTD performance of PED.

Qualifications and Experience

- BE / B. Tech (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Engineering Industries in Tier-1 / OEM/Medium Scale Organisation/MSMEs
- Exposure to Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Drawings, Customer Interaction, Project Planning and Scheduling, MIS Reports, OTD Performance, Quality Systems
- Positive Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, IT Skills, Soft Skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Project Management-
- Project Management for PED Projects
- Obtain Customer Inputs for Project Execution including Raw Materials, Tools etc.,
- Supplier Co-ordination for Outsourced Parts Development
- Meet OTD Performance for the Division
- Planning-
- Contract review of all received PO. Comparing the feasibility study done during PFQ stage and fine tune in case of any anomalies.
- Risk Assessment of all received PO. Also comparing the risk assessment done during RFQ stage and follow up of mitigating planned.
- Support cost calculation of all the assembly projects and monitoring its execution.
- Capturing the time variance between estimated and actual in live and initiating actions for resolving.
- Identifying the non-value added activities during execution, discuss with concerned and initiating actions for reducing the NVA.
- Data capturing for KPIs and initiating corrective actions in case of any deviations.




- Measuring plan V/s Actual week wise and initiating correcting actions for achieving 100%
- Follow up of projects at various stages of processing and removing the bottle necks by co-ordinating with productions.
- Co-ordinating with other departments for resolving day to day issue if any.
- Follow up with vendor for issues related to technical, documentation, etc. and bringing the finished parts on time.
- Assembly based projects follow up for completion of projects on a daily basis.
- Presales-
- Support Estimation by Co-ordinating internally and with Suppliers, as necessary to obtain Techno Commercial details.
- Participate in Data Analytics by Win/Loss Analysis
- Customer Focus-
- Developing vendor base to a capacity equivalent to our in-house capacity. Also developing vendor where we do not have capability.
- Monitoring corrective actions of customer complaints and process complaints.
- Co-ordinate with the team for smooth customer relations with regard to customer part status and delivery.
- Co-ordinating with customers for arranging the materials, drawings, gauges and resolving issues if any on a regular basis.
- MIS Reports-
- Evaluating capacity of VMCs, CNC lathes and represent constraints to HOD.
- Tracking of dispatches and follow up regarding order completion.
- Updating and sending the PO status to HOD and to all customers once in two weeks.,
- Conducting daily production meeting and update the status to HOD wherever constraints and potential delays are observed.
- Monitoring, reviewing and implementation of AS9100D procedures.
