Role Overview

We are looking for a senior leader to build and scale the Lending Partnerships business for a listed financial services company. The role will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintechs and other ecosystem players to drive lending growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the strategy and P&L; for the Lending Partnerships business.

- Identify and build partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, digital platforms and other lending ecosystem players.

- Develop new lending propositions and partnership-led distribution models across products and customer segments.

- Drive the entire partnership lifecycle — from identification and commercial negotiations to onboarding, launch and ongoing performance management.

- Work closely with Credit, Risk, Product, Technology, Operations and Legal teams to build scalable partnership models.

- Own business metrics including disbursements, revenue, portfolio quality, partner productivity and profitability.

- Build and maintain senior relationships with key lending partners and financial institutions.

- Evaluate market opportunities,



emerging lending models and potential strategic partnerships.

- Lead a team and build the capabilities required to scale the partnerships business.

Ideal Profile

- 12–18+ years of experience in lending, financial services, fintech or banking.

- Strong experience in lending partnerships / strategic alliances / business development with banks, NBFCs or fintech platforms.

- Experience managing large institutional relationships and negotiating commercial structures.

- Robust understanding of lending products, credit processes, risk frameworks and digital lending ecosystems.

- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling a business or partnership-led lending channel.

- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to balance growth, profitability and portfolio quality.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external partners.

- Prior experience in a high-growth fintech, NBFC, bank or financial services company would be relevant.
