Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Graphite Production Manager to oversee the complete production process and ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality control, process improvement, equipment utilization, and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day graphite production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Manage the complete production process, including raw material handling, processing, finishing, and packing.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and production capacity.
- Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks, breakdowns, and process deviations.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other resources.
- Supervise and manage production staff, operators, and shift teams.
- Prepare shift schedules and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure that production activities meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor raw material consumption, production yield, wastage, and process losses.
- Implement measures to reduce wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain production records, reports, and relevant manufacturing documentation.
- Analyze production data and prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement,



productivity enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Train and guide production personnel on processes, equipment operation, quality, and safety practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in graphite, carbon, refractory, ceramics, minerals, or similar industries.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Experience in managing production teams and shift operations.
- Good understanding of machinery, equipment, maintenance coordination, and production processes.
- Knowledge of quality control and process improvement techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in graphite electrodes, graphite products, carbon products, refractory materials, mineral processing, or related manufacturing operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
