About the RoleWe are looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Quality to join our Quality team in transformer manufacturing. The candidate will be trained and involved in quality inspection, testing, documentation, process monitoring and quality assurance throughout the transformer manufacturing process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh engineering graduate to build strong practical knowledge in distribution and power transformers, electrical testing, manufacturing processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Quality team in incoming, in-process and final inspection of transformer components and assemblies.
- Support inspection of core, winding, insulation, tank, accessories and other transformer components as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist in conducting and recording routine and type tests as applicable.
- Learn and support transformer testing activities such as:
- Winding Resistance
- Transformer Ratio / Voltage Ratio
- Insulation Resistance
- No-Load Loss & Current
- Load Loss & Impedance
- Dielectric / Applied Voltage Test
- Induced Voltage Test
- Oil-related tests and other applicable inspections
- Verify manufacturing activities against approved drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports, test reports, checklists and quality records.
- Assist in identifying non-conformities, defects and process deviations and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase and Stores teams for resolution of quality-related issues.
- Support preparation of NCR, CAPA and corrective/preventive action records.
- Assist in maintaining and implementing the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Participate in internal quality audits, process audits and customer inspections.




- Ensure proper calibration and identification of measuring and testing instruments.
- Assist in maintaining quality documentation and records as per QMS requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, rejection and manufacturing defects.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality and manufacturing procedures.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Freshers / 0–1 year experience
- Strong interest in Quality, Testing and Manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering concepts
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and testing areas
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
