Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Retail Pharmacy to manage the overall retail pharmacy business and ensure sales growth, profitability, smooth operations and business development.

The candidate will be responsible for leading the retail pharmacy team, improving business performance, monitoring store operations and ensuring achievement of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the overall retail pharmacy business and operations.
2. Develop and achieve sales, revenue and profitability targets.
3. Monitor overall store performance, sales growth and operational efficiency.
4. Lead and manage Vertical Heads, Store Managers, Pharmacists and other staff.
5. Develop strategies for business growth, customer acquisition and customer retention.
6. Monitor inventory, procurement, stock availability, expiry and stock losses.
7. Ensure proper pricing, product availability and effective medicine sales.
8. Monitor P&L;, expenses, profitability and overall financial performance.
9.



Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, licences, documentation and company SOPs.
10. Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, HR, Operations and Head Office for smooth business functioning.
11. Review MIS, sales reports, stock reports and store-wise performance and take corrective actions.
12. Identify new business opportunities and support retail pharmacy expansion and business growth.
13. Maintain professional relationships with doctors, key customers, suppliers and other business stakeholders.
14. Resolve major operational and business issues and ensure timely decision-making.
15. Report overall business performance, achievements and key issues to Top Management.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Any Graduate / MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy / Pharma Retail Operations.
- Strong experience in retail pharmacy business management.
