Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer Python & Svelte to join Snayu AI and work across the backend and frontend of our core software platform.

You will work closely with the founder and another backend engineer to build and improve backend services, execution workflows, APIs and the browser interface.

Your responsibilities will include

- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and asyncio.
- Build and integrate APIs connecting backend services with the web application.
- Develop and maintain the browser interface using Svelte and TypeScript.
- Build interfaces for configuration, workflow execution, progress, results and failure states.
- Build systems for dispatching, scheduling and coordinating background tasks.
- Design clean configuration and extension systems that are easy to maintain and expand.
- Connect backend workflows and APIs to the frontend and ensure information is presented clearly to users.
- Work with browser state, asynchronous operations and API responses to create reliable user experiences.
- Investigate and fix issues across the backend, frontend, browser and Linux environment.
- Write tests and documentation for the systems you work on.
- Review code and discuss technical decisions with the rest of the engineering team.
- Help improve the architecture and user experience as the project grows rather than simply implementing isolated features.

You will initially work through an existing workflow from configuration to execution and persistence,



understand how the different components interact, and then take ownership of a real improvement across both the backend and browser application.

Required:

- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Good understanding of asyncio, asynchronous programming and concurrency.
- Strong TypeScript fundamentals.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and modern browser development.
- Experience building web applications and working with APIs.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework. Svelte experience is an advantage.
- Practical experience with SQL and databases.
- Comfortable working with Linux, services, processes and logs.
- Understanding of background workers, task queues or similar systems.
- Ability to investigate problems independently and explain the reasoning behind a solution.
- Good software engineering fundamentals and attention to maintainable code.

Good to have:

- Experience with Svelte or SvelteKit.
- PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
- Experience with task queues, orchestration or job dispatch systems.
- Experience designing configurable or modular systems.
- SAQ or similar task-queue experience.
- Pydantic / PydanticAI / workflow frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases or pgvector.
- Experience working on AI-related applications or developer tools.

AI experience is not required. If you have worked with backend services,



worker systems, modern frontend frameworks or other comparable software, that experience is highly relevant. Qualified experience, open-source contributions, or a strong personal project can demonstrate these skills.

Working at Snayu AI

This is a 12-month paid engagement, with the possibility of continuing based on project requirements and mutual agreement.

We are a small team, so you will have meaningful ownership over both the backend and frontend systems you work on. You will have the opportunity to influence how the product, architecture and user experience develop.

We welcome the use of tools such as AI coding assistants. However, you should be comfortable reviewing and understanding the code you submit, including code generated with AI, and be able to explain how you tested and verified it.

Regular communication with the team through Discord is expected. We value people who ask questions, investigate problems and follow things through rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
