Role Description This is a full-time, 100% remote Fullstack Developer Internship with HIREXAI. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, build, and maintain features across the full stack, contributing to web applications that power the AI-driven hiring ecosystem.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include implementing responsive user interfaces, developing and integrating APIs, working with databases, writing clean and testable code, and assisting in code reviews and documentation.



The intern will help troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and support deployment processes in a modern cloud environment. Interns will also participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and collaborative problem-solving to deliver practical solutions for colleges, employers, and candidates.

Qualifications

- Foundational fullstack development skills, including familiarity with at least one frontend framework (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and one backend technology (such as Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
- Experience or coursework in working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and integrating data into web applications.
- Comfort with version control tools (such as Git) and cooperative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interest in building scalable products in an AI-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with distributed teams, and manage time effectively.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or basic DevOps practices is a plus, along with interest in AI, talent-tech, or recruitment solutions.
