Role: Freelance Full-Stack Developer (Part-Time / Milestone-Based)

Location: Remote

Commitment: ~10–15 hours/week (Flexible weekday evenings + weekend sprint availability)

Timeline: Initial [6–8 week] sprint for core MVP launch, with potential for ongoing collaboration

About the Role

We are an early-stage startup building AI solutions for business. We are looking for a pragmatic, experienced Full-Stack Developer to partner directly with the founder to bring our MVP from concept to production.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer seeking high-impact, adaptable side work outside standard office hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, build, and deploy the functional MVP based on project wireframes and specifications.
- Develop clean, modern, and responsive front-end interfaces using React.
- Design scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js/Express.
- Model, implement, and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL.
- Setup core application deployment, basic CI/CD, and environment configurations.




- Participate in weekly async check-ins and sprint planning sessions.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 3–4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience building production-grade web applications.
- Core Stack: Solid proficiency in React, Node.js/Express, and PostgreSQL.
- Smart AI Utilization: You are encouraged to leverage modern AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery. However, blind copy-pasting is strictly discouraged—you must understand the architecture, test thoroughly, and debug under the hood.
- Pragmatic Mindset: Ability to balance speed of execution with clean, maintainable architecture.
- Bonus: Hands-on experience developing mobile applications in React Native.
