About the role

We are looking for a high-agency Full-Stack Developer Intern who enjoys solving varied problems and learning unfamiliar systems quickly.

This is a paid, full-time internship and a generalist engineering role—not an internship limited to one product or technology. You may work on a frontend bug in the morning, investigate an API or data issue in the afternoon, and prepare a technical research note or automation script the next day. The common thread is ownership: understand the problem, find the missing context, deliver a practical solution and close the loop.

You will help resolve important product and engineering work that spans teams, including backlog issues, internal tools, integrations, testing, technical research, documentation and product improvements. This work gives you unusually broad exposure to how real AI products are built and operated.

What you will do

- Take scoped product and engineering issues from problem definition through implementation, testing and documentation.
- Work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud services and internal tools as priorities change.
- Investigate bugs, reproduce failures, identify root causes and implement durable fixes.
- Build and improve features using React/Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend and Python/FastAPI, Node.js or similar technologies on the backend.
- Create utilities, scripts, dashboards and automations that remove repetitive work for engineering, product and operations teams.
- Research unfamiliar technologies, libraries, vendors or approaches; test assumptions through focused prototypes; and communicate a clear recommendation.
- Integrate third-party APIs and improve data flows, validations, error handling and operational visibility.
- Add or improve unit, integration and end-to-end tests for the areas you touch.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to move faster while reviewing,



testing and understanding every change before it is shipped.
- Improve legacy or AI-generated code through refactoring, documentation and production hardening.
- Keep issue trackers, technical notes and handoffs current so completed work remains understandable and reusable.
- Support releases, investigate production issues and follow through until the expected outcome is verified.

What we are looking for

We care more about evidence of learning and building than years of experience. Students, recent graduates and early-career developers are welcome to apply.

- A sound foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language such as Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with React or Next.js and modern web-development fundamentals.
- Understanding of REST APIs, databases, Git and basic software-development workflows.
- Ability to navigate an unfamiliar codebase, ask focused questions and make progress without waiting for perfect instructions.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving habits: reproduce, isolate, test, fix and verify.
- Comfort switching context between different products, technologies and types of assignments.
- Ability to research a technical topic and turn scattered information into a concise, decision-ready recommendation.
- A testing mindset and willingness to document the systems you change.
- Clear communication, reliable follow-through and respect for deadlines.
- Willingness to work full-time and on-site in Ballari, Karnataka.

AI-augmented development

We expect interns to use modern AI tools thoughtfully. Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar assistants is valuable, but blindly accepting generated code is not. You should be able to explain your implementation, test it, recognise its limitations and improve it when necessary.

Good to have

- Personal, academic, freelance or internship projects demonstrating end-to-end ownership.




- Experience with FastAPI, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis or background-job systems.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP or Azure, Docker and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Jest or similar testing tools.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, structured outputs, RAG, AI agents or evaluation workflows.
- Experience building internal tools, automations, dashboards or developer utilities.
- Contributions to open-source projects, hackathons or technically ambitious side projects.

What success looks like

- You can pick up well-scoped issues across the stack and close them with decreasing supervision.
- Your changes are tested, documented and reliable—not merely marked complete.
- You reduce recurring work by turning repeated fixes into reusable tools or better processes.
- Your research helps the team make faster, better-supported technical decisions.
- You communicate blockers early, verify outcomes and leave the codebase easier to work with than you found it.

- Compulsory on-site position in Ballari (Bellary), Karnataka.
