Role Description The Front Desk Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Clay by Lingaraj Granites showroom in Bhubaneswar.

The Front Desk

Attendant will greet and assist visitors, answer inquiries about products and services, and direct customers to the appropriate team members or showroom sections. Daily responsibilities include managing phone calls, handling appointment bookings, maintaining visitor logs, and performing basic clerical tasks such as filing and organizing documents.



The role also involves supporting customer service activities, ensuring the reception area is presentable, and coordinating with sales and operations staff to provide a smooth showroom experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and team members.
- Experience with receptionist duties and front desk operations, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries.
- Proficient phone etiquette and call-handling skills for managing incoming and outgoing communications.
- Basic clerical skills, such as data entry, filing, maintaining records, and using office software.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends or extended hours as required by showroom operations.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or showroom environments is an advantage.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or customer service is a plus.
