- Rate Negotiation: Handle freight pricing and rate negotiations with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and overseas agents.
- Sourcing Rates: Obtain and compare competitive ocean and air freight rates.
- Quotations: Prepare accurate, timely freight quotations for import and export shipments.
- Coordination: Coordinate with clients, carriers, CHA/customs, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Data Management: Maintain updated freight rate sheets and vendor databases.
- Optimization: Monitor market rates to identify cost-effective routing and shipping options.
- Team Support: Support sales and operations teams with pricing requirement.
- Experience: Prior experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics Pricing.
- Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, FCL/LCL, and Import/Export processes.
- Key Skills: Solid negotiation and communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple quotations.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation.
