We are looking for a creative, trend-focused, and detail-oriented Freelance Fashion Designer specializing in womens western wear. The designer will be responsible for developing fresh, commercially viable designs aligned with the brand’s aesthetic, target customer, and current fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Research current and upcoming fashion trends, silhouettes, colors, fabrics, prints, and surface details.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal collections.
- Create original designs for women’s western wear, including tops, dresses, shirts, skirts, trousers, co-ords, jumpsuits, and other fashion categories.
- Prepare detailed fashion sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, prints, and color combinations.
- Develop tech packs and provide clear garment construction and detailing instructions.
- Coordinate with sampling, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams when required.
- Review samples and provide feedback on fit, silhouette, construction, fabric, and finishing.




- Ensure designs are both aesthetically appealing and commercially viable.
- Manage multiple design projects and meet agreed timelines and deliverables.
- Adapt designs based on client or brand feedback while maintaining design consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience in women’s western wear fashion design.
- Robust understanding of fashion trends, garment construction, fabrics, and silhouettes.
- Proficiency in fashion illustration and design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to create professional technical drawings and tech packs.
- Strong creative, conceptual, and visual communication skills.
- Good understanding of fit, proportions, and commercial fashion.
- Ability to work independently and manage freelance projects within deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing women’s western wear designs is preferred.

Engagement: Freelance / Project-Based Experience: Relevant experience in women’s western wear preferred
