Suhani Metacast Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer of High Chrome & Hyper Steel Grinding Media Balls, Chrome Steel Cylpebs and Manganese Steel Liners serving the cement, mining, thermal power and mineral processing industries.

We are currently developing a new, modern foundry manufacturing facility in Jaipur and are looking for an experienced mechanical qualified to take ownership of the mechanical installation, project execution and commissioning activities at the plant.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on foundry experience who can manage and execute the installation of foundry machinery and mechanical systems at our new plant.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience working on foundry equipment installation, machinery alignment, piping, utilities, fabrication, commissioning and plant setup.

This is a site-based execution role and requires someone who is comfortable working directly with contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants and the internal management team.

Key Responsibilities1. Machinery Installation

- Supervise and coordinate installation of foundry machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate installation of equipment such as:
- Induction furnaces
- Moulding / DISA moulding line
- Compressors and other auxiliary equipment
- Ensure proper equipment positioning, levelling, alignment and anchoring as per OEM drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with machinery suppliers during installation and commissioning.

1. Project Execution





- Take responsibility for day-to-day mechanical execution at the project site.
- Review equipment drawings, GA drawings, foundation drawings and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical and MEP contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor installation progress against project timelines.
- Identify site issues and coordinate their resolution.

1. Foundry-Specific Installation

- Ensure proper understanding of foundry layouts and material flow.
- Coordinate installation of equipment related to melting, moulding, pouring, shakeout, fettling, heat treatment and finishing.
- Understand mechanical requirements of foundry utilities and production systems.
- Assist in optimizing equipment placement and production flow.

1. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

- Coordinate with OEMs, machinery suppliers, fabricators and installation contractors.
- Supervise contractors and ensure work is executed according to drawings and specifications.
- Verify material and equipment received at site.
- Track pending materials, installation requirements and vendor commitments.
- Participate in vendor inspection and equipment trials where required.

1. Commissioning & Trial Runs

- Support mechanical commissioning of all major equipment.
- Prepare installation and commissioning checklists.
- Identify mechanical problems during trial runs and coordinate corrective action.
- Work with OEM teams during machine commissioning.
- Ensure equipment is ready for production handover.

- Maintain daily/weekly project progress reports.
- Track installation status of major equi

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
